With travelling in our sights, we couldn't be more ready to pack our bags and finally start the positive adventures of 2021. In saying that, if Europe is in your horizons, you'll be hit with the reality of the fact that we are well into winter.
The great thing about that is due to it being the off-season, tourism is far lower than during the summer. Wintertime in many places can be absolutely breathtaking and those who arent winter fans can still find warmer destinations in the South.
Whether you're picking up the skis, working on wearing a bikini or just need to go see anything, here are our top destination for February 2021.
A perfect combination of glorious snow, outdoor winter activities, and comfort food. Oslo is a great place to head to in the wintertime and despite popular belief, it's not that cold. As one of the prettiest places to visit in Europe, you have the convenience of venturing into the city for some sightseeing and just as easily finding any nature you desire.

Public transport is simple making it a piece of cake to get around and there is plenty to do. On top of sightseeing, you have sledging, skiing, ice skating, walking on water on the fjord, going for a hike or trying a wood-burning sauna. Don't forget that comfort food, most specifically, waffles.

A spot you'll need a coat, boots, beanie and gloves for, but nonetheless, a unique destination. This frosty part of Europe has some really interesting things to do during the winter. For instance, you can enjoy wine tasting tours which are perfect to keep you warm and giggly, jump into a stunning coffee house to enjoy the extended living room vibes with some delicious foods or even go to a ball. Yes, you heard us right, a ball! Full cinderella vibes can be enjoyed here, just try to learn the waltz beforehand.

If warmth is something you need, Vienna is known for its Therme Wien. You can spend a day here enjoying the swimming pools, Finnish sauna, steam room, relaxing rooms, cafeteria areas and even wellness facilities. Perfect after some cold sightseeing.

Grab your warm walking shoes and be ready to see so much while visiting Amsterdam. With all of the street art you can find, beautiful traditional houses lining the canals, and incredible options in cuisine and booze, you will happily be busy while visiting here.

Will it be cold? Yes! So making sure you are warm enough while walking or in true Amsterdam fashion, riding. However, if you do get cold, you can step into the Rijksmuseum, Anne Frank House or Van Gogh Museum, jump on a canal cruise/boat tour, grab some grub in a beautiful restaurant or have a lot of fun in a coffee house. Post coffee house walks can be amazing and you can get all your Dutch munchie needs at FEBO.

If you are looking for a warmer destination, Lisbon is calling your name. This wonderful city holds so much history, beauty and some really cool food. Another walking shoe kind of city, though you won't have to worry about snow slowing you down.

You can even venture outside of the city to hit up some cool towns or explore the beach. You can undertake all of your usual Lisbon tourism-ey things while visiting in the winter, just with less tourism and cheaper prices.

Another warmer location, Barcelona tourists attractions are doable all year round. Along with days of walking around and sightseeing, you also have the very big potential of enjoying a sun-filled vacation on the beach. With fewer tourists at this time of the year, you can enjoy a little bit more peace. Just a little, though, because let's be real; this is Barcelona.

On the same note, you won't be disappointed by the amazing night life and delicious food. Soak up the atmosphere, be awestruck by the surroundings and eat as much as you can. Please.

A snowy fairyland, romantic city and gothic vibe give Prague a look that can't be duplicated. While you're all wrapped up, you can walk along the narrow streets of Old Town, check out the frozen Vltava River with the ice-covered Baroque statues, eat a houska, drink some beer and enjoy the delicious cuisine.

Picture opportunities are far and wide in this winter wonderland and fewer tourists make it all that much easier.

A place where you don't plan, but just wander and see where you will end up. Getting lost in Venice is just as wonderful in the winter and perfect with a lot less people filling up the streets.

Although you may have to keep an eye and ear out for rising waters that take over the main squares but only during high tide. Get lost during the day with some coffee breaks to soak up the views and spend nights devouring whatever plates of delicious food you can get your hands on. It's a win-win situation.

Known as the Venice of the North, this is another beautiful city to walk around and be lost in. Explore the medieval district, enjoy all the different pastries on offer and discover some museums. More specifically the ABBA Museum, along with the Drottningholm Palace and Royal Palace.

As a generally less touristy destination, it will be even less touristy during the winter. You can choose from a bus that rolls around the city or the Archipelago cruise to soak up your surroundings.

Last but certainly not least, we have Copenhagen. A perfectly sized city to walk around in and when every angle looks beautiful, you won't be bored with all of the places and colours you will see. Freetown Christiania, The Little Mermaid and Nyhavn should be on your list.

If looking for a place to let loose and grab some excellent beer is in your plans, this is your spot. You can take part in the craft beer tour, which will keep you occupied and warm in the cold, or feel like your in Amsterdam and jump on a canal cruise. After the year we've had, a little partying wouldn't hurt.
